WHO WE ARE
Grace Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We believe in the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God, through his Son Jesus Christ, is Lord and Savior. Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, we are forgiven all our sins and given eternal salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the source for what we believe and teach, centering on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The good news of Christ is experienced not only through the Scriptures, but also through the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism. In this way, faith is given and strengthened, and sins are forgiven. We believe that all who believe and are baptized are children of God and members with God in God’s Kingdom. We of Grace Lutheran Church are a cohesive group of friendly and down-to-earth people. We are small enough to know each other and work together in a spirit of camaraderie, and large enough to offer something to people of all ages and backgrounds. We care about people…we care about you! We invite YOU to worship with us Sunday. WE INVITE YOU We welcome you to participate with us in the good things God has given through the Church. Come to our services, attend our Sunday school and activities. If you wish to become a member of our congregation, you may do so by transfer, affirmation of faith, or baptism. The church council president can help identify which step is right for you. |
